Are OEM starters better than aftermarket for Chebvbies\GMC's?

Yes, OEM are better in our experience. So are OEM power steering pumps.

I do find it peculiar that when buying aftermarket parts, they ask if you want the 1 year, 3 year, or 5 year warrantied part. The difference between them is what region of China they are manufactured in.

BTW - the last two 6.0 gas trucks just left here. Only a cube van left now. And now you end up with one?

We bought a gardening company and "inherited" 2 Chebbies and a GMC. The GMC is the only one worth anything but is at 200k. No winter use. One of the Chebbies needs to be replaced but we also need money to replace it.
