Squeeking drivetrain

    The rear u joint on our HD seems to be squeeking. It does not seen to be loose or there is no vibration. The same thing is in my s10 too. Is the joint on the way out.

    Yes. Salt does a good job at that. Make sure the next ones are grease able.

    Grandview's correct, Squeaky, means u-joint is going. My dually is the worst for it because of the extended driveshaft.

    Had the same thing happen to my truck- started squeaking- replaced the joint with a grease-able new one- problem solved!:nod:
