I have a boss 7.5 standard duty plow which trips far to easyly for me. does boss have stonger springs? Or do the springs get weaker with time/use (approx 4 years old)
Plowed before with boss super duty 8.5 and rarely tripped

they do loose strength after a time ,or might need to tighten them up a little .depending on how old it is they extra trip spring to make it four or you may be able to either get the bracket's weldment to weld on or make them .the super duty's have 4 versus three on the standard duty .
