Guys,
I was wondering what are the advantages of a poly spinner??? All of our sanders but one have the standard metal 3 fin ones that come with the downeaster SS spreaders. I have not used the truck with the poly spinner but have to imagine with the more fins you'd get a more even pattern. Also I have lost the spinner on my spreader 2x, finding it later both times. I assume when starting or stopping the spreader the bolt / pin is shearing off, from the jolt it gets, I assume with a poly spinner you'd not get that issue, am I correct?? If I can't get a poly what can I do to be sure I don't shear any more pins off ??????
