When I start the engine and hit the gas the truck bucks and shudders. It vibrates in the cab. Once the engine heats up it doesn't do it as much, but when I am at a dead stop, and hit the gas hard the truck can't get out of its own way. Then the truck picks up and moves. Any thoughts of what the problem may be.

A little more information might help. Year, model, engine, carb/EFI/Diesel?

If it is a carberated vehicle then is ounds like the choke is sticking, but it is hard to tell without any vehicle information.

It could be alot of things. Check the simple things first, spark plugs, plug wires, fuel filter, or maybe your timing is off. Its sounds like a fuel issue.
