I am taking apart my Snowex 1875 spreader to sand blast and paint the frame. I can not figure out how to get the auger out. The motor and trans are unbolted and the set screw removed. I tried to pry the shaft from the auger with no luck. I can not heat it because of the hopper. I have been soaking it with Kroil. Its not even rusted at that end. Anyone have an idea?
