So during the last snow storm my auger stopped spinning. Once we dug all the salt out it still didn't work. Turns out the love joy coupler has come apart. We loosened the set screw on the auger shaft, pushed it forward and tightened the screw. It seemes to work fine now. Has anyone ever have this happen? Just wondering if it happens occasionally or if it's the result of something else going on?

There should be a rubber cushion piece that goes in there also.

Didn’t know that but I see it on the parts manual. I’m guessing that mine broke and that’s what happened. Thank you
