I replaced a shaft seal today. Everything worked before I replaced it. Everything works afterwords as well. Unfortunately the plow doesn't go entirely into scoop and raise. It works left, right, up down just fine. It acts like there isn't enough fluid in the reservoir to push the plow into scoop and raise it. If I fill it more then the fluid just dumps out the vent like it is suppose to. We have a big event coming up and no dealer support in my area. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I have blown out the lines, cleaned the leads, bled the angle cylinders. Just STUMPED. Thanks in advance.

Could it be my uptake in the reservoir not angled down enough?

I’m no expert, but if the only change was the seal, I’d start with that. Maybe that isn’t seated right, got damaged and a piece is in the fluid/valves somewhere. Take the seal back out and check it; maybe put the old one back in to test it.

I'm not familiar with the Buyers power units but it does sound like the suction filter isn't reaching deep enough. Possibly fell off during reassmbly?

I screwed in the suction tube and left it 90 degrees from facing down. It has to be the problem. I'm heading out to see if that fixes it.
