just picked up an 84 RC with a 318 engine.

    The truck is stock

I would like to put a 29 series Snoway on it. Love the down pressure for scrapping and back blading driveways.

Will I need to beef up the suspension?

If so, what do you recommend?

    Thanks for the advice

2 1/2 add-a-leafs' trans cooler, heavy duty cross' in the axles, you know, the usual stuff.

Do you have the 29 or are you buying it? It may be more than you need, maybe a 26 would be enough. At any rate, we had an 87 RC and it was an animal. We put ballast in it and never touched the front end. We put a Meyers 7'6" on it. You could put a set of HD springs on the front. We did that with a full size Blazer we had. The RC had way more traction than the Blazer, part of that was due to narrow tires.
