not to give a smart answer to you but I really like them both in certain situations. I really like the blades and the pushers.

Is the run off of the snow a big deal with a pusher?

I agree something that gives you both. In heavy snows a pusher box gets full quick and spills over. In those instances I like the plow because I can windrow to one side then push the last of it with the pusher. A plow is great when you need to back drag too. it also stacks higher due to the fact it sticks out farther so you get more height.

A plow is more versatile a pusher box is more job specific.
I think for a skid steer a pusher box is good for short straight pushes.

I bought a plow that has fast attach box ends so i can go from plow to pusher in 30 seconds.

I wonder if Pro-Tech will make something like this soon. or one with hydraulic wings and full angle blade.:D
