Ummm, John, this is a "discussion forum", also known as a "message board" or MB. ;)

There are chat rooms for Lawnsite, where we can talk "realtime". The only catch is you need AIM (AOL Instant Messanger) to join the chats. Eric ELM has a few chat rooms for Lawnsite on his website (www.elmlawnsite.com) They are mainly lawn care chats.

So..... on my site, http://www.snowplowing-contractors.com I made a chat room for us snow nuts to chat! Just remember, you need AIM, and you need to sign on to AIM before you try to enter the chat room. AIM is available at http://www.aol.com

It's under "What's New".

Sounds like you need to reload the page Bryan. If that doesn't work (which often it doesn't on AOL) then go to my site using Internet Explorer. Slect "refresh" there too, and it should load fine.

Deleting your "Temporary Internet Files" every now and then helps too.

Now who's the dummy? ;)
The old footimus in the mouthimus strikes again. With all of us computer geeks here, you gotta be more exact with the research for the articles now John. We're not going to let you get away with anything apparently. Can't wait to get my copy of the mag.

Guess I should stick to plowing snow and forget the computer stuff.

Ya know, it WAS a compliment to all the guys here even if I screwed up the terminology. The intentions were good.

I stand corrected and I would venture to say that "I'm the dummy" !!!!

And just to further clarify, I only called ya a dummy 'cause ya called someone else a dummy. I don't really feel that either of the "dummies" are dummies (or any one else here). See what all that discussion about liability has done to me, now I'm putting disclaimers in my posts LOL.

slplow,
I didn't see that movie, but what you're describing sounds more like Storm after a night at the local bar ;)

BRL, You may be right, I believe Digger says he likes to crank up Slow Ride, Foghat while plowing or was that Storm that said it was Digger, I guess time will tell. Me, I just like to plow and plow and plow, and sometimes I like to plow cars in in parking lots, so they can't get out, but never the owner of the parking lot. I enjoy the articles in the snow mags and find them very informative. Keep the good work up John.
