I bought a set of Smartlocks from a guy on ebay. They came and they are chipped in some places(probably from shipping) and there seems to be some sort of grease or oil that leaked out of a cylinder. The box has a oil stain on it and the smartlocks are a little greased up.

My question is simple, is the grease or oil normal to have leaked? Should they be a little greasy?

If these were supposed to be new cylinders I don't think there should be any oil in the cylinders. Usually cylinders are put together with a little grease on the internal o-rings. This wouldn't be enough to leak out and stain the box. If these were supposed to be used, then that would explain the oil.
