Our blade has recently started reacting slowly. I added fluid because it was pretty low. But that only helped a little. Just doesn't wanna lift like it used to. Any ideas?

You need to check the DC amps that the motor is pulling with a "DC" amp clamp at the motor. 110 amp on startup with 90 amps on running is OK, less is better. Hiniker sells a brush rebuild kit for your motor if there worn down. Also, we only use MIL Spec 5606 Aviation hyd fluid in all the plows we sell. The viscosity of most fluids will cause the problem your having.

MIL Spec 5606 has anti-cavitation, anti rusting & will not "gel (get thick) until -50. It is superior to any fluids currently being sold. Its not cheap, $20.00 per gallon but its worth it. You can find this at any general aviation airport in your area.
