Silverado 2500 plow rig

    Heres my set up. 08 Silverado 2500HD. Just got the Boss DXT this year, so far have been impressed. Pretty happy with the truck and plow combo.

    I've never noticed before, but that looks like a really tall cutting edge. I'm going to have to look up what the height is on those, It's either a lot taller than I'm used to looking at, or mine needs to be replaced badly!

    I don't think it's any taller than any other blade...the black metal behind and above it is deceiving

    It's 6" just like the other boss v plows. You actually wear the original "base angle" down and then bolt a cutting edge over it.

    I just got a stainless DXT for this year myself Thumbs Up

    Loving stainless, and loving dual trip!

    Yes, I see now, you are correct. You can see in the picture below your post that there is black above the cutting edge that is not cutting edge. Same as others. Very nice combination regardless. I'll never have another non-stainless blade again myself.
