What's the consensus on keeping or removing the shoes on a plow? I plow my driveway (blacktop) and that's it...should I keep them on or remove them?

This topic has been beaten to death.
    I would say shoes off.
Ps. The search bar works great

Sorry about that..searched after posting and it sounds like shoes come off. I've always taken them off but wanted to make sure I was no missing something.

I never took mine off but they don't do anything on my plow. (set high) so it's like plowing without them. Just cuts though the ice and snow better IMO. So I say off!

I keep mine off for asphalt, and slip them on for gravel.
