    I mentioned a few of the things I learned my very first time plowing this year and below is one correction I made. That should hold my 600 lbs. of tube sand right where it should be up against the tailgate (unless I roll my truck of course).

    That's a start, but you need to beef it up. You hit something solid when going forward and that will snap like a twig and/or go flying upwards. All the sand will go flying forward which could destroy your toolbox. Run some 2x4 up to the headboard. You might want to modify it so the bags can run lengthwise with the truck. That way you could run a strap across all the bags.
