Saving Concrete--salt Alternatives

    I need some help please.....looking for rock salt alternatives...i have heard of magic salt...can any one list some others...

    some of my businesses are wanting something that wont harm the concrete....
    also would like to buy it in 50 lb bags....

    thanks for any info....

    Calcium chloride
    Magnesium chloride
    Potassium chloride

    All are much safer on concrete than sodium chloride (rock salt). They are also less harmful to plants and turf, don't create the white staining like rock salt.
  3. Magic, if you can get it, works great with concrete surfaces. It works to -35 and it does not refreeze. Used it on our properties for 3 seasons. No problems
