First time with my own stock pile.. I have it in a pit with a full roof over it with the front open. I leave my machine pulled in on it,, Wondering if I should have a cover over the pile or not... I'm figuring I should cover in the summer.. ?? Thanks

i would let the air at it, as long as rain can't get at it and i would not park a machine on top of a pile of salt

No need to cover as long as it stays dry keep anything metal away from the pile

It's sand salt mix. It stays dry under tent I only rest bucket of machine in pile. This way front window is under tent... Should the sand be covered during the summer?
