Salting and Snowblowing

    How do you guys charge for snowblowing and salting. Both commercialy and residential? What is an easy way to price for this? Thanks

    There are many different ways to price for each. I'd really suggest doing a search on "salt", "pricing" and "snowblower". In case you don't know how - go to the top of this page, click on the word "search" and type in the block titled "keyword". Then scroll down to a thread that looks interesting.

    The "easy" way of pricing for snowblowing is to figure how long a particular job will take, figure how much you want to make per hour to cover costs and make a profit, then apply one to the other. For salting, you might charge 3x your cost of material. Like most easy answers, it won't usually work that way.
