I have a goosneck trailer that I use to move my loader from time to time during big snow events, I am in need of another salter and dont want to buy another truck right now, so my question is does anybody know if the clearance is there to pull a goosneck with a small tailgate salter on or will i have to install it at each job if i need to use it?

You want a tail gate spreader on a gooseneck? How long is the gooseneck? Turning could be a problem. By the time you back up and try and get every place you might be behind. And are you driving or someone that works for you?! Big difference for time on that one. Depending on how big it is, it might just be easier to you a 100lbs walk behind spreader

You are going to have to remove the spreader to hook the gooseneck up anyway. Use the loader to put the spreader up on the neck then hook the trailer up. Do the opposite when you get the loader unloaded.

That sounds like your best bet. I have never sen any gooseneck setup that has enough clearance for a tailgate spreader but hey, who knows. Would have to be one small @ss spreader and a trailer with a reeaally long neck.
