SaltDogg SPHE2000

    Bought another salt dogg spreader and it came with 5' rachet straps. My other one came with 10' straps. Anybody else get these? They arent even long enough for my short bed chevy, rear hooks.

    They probably are to hold you in the seat when the controller fails - sorry Salt Dogg - tired and need to just go home.

    Even in the long bed trucks, the front straps are maybe 3 or 4 feet long, maybe not even that. We hook from the handle down to a cleat in the bed corner (Ford). Are you criss crossing them??

    If so, we made a wood frame to brace the thing in there, keeps it from sliding side to side and keeps it from sliding forward.
