• PlowSite Homepage Upgrade

    Hello again PlowSite community,

I wanted to post a quick note to let you know that the homepage of PlowSite will experience a major upgrade next week. We’re always looking for ways to improve our users’ experience on the site, and felt that this upgrade was needed and long overdue.

With this upgrade, you’ll now see the top trending posts as soon as you visit PlowSite, and these will be updated throughout the day. You can also easily access videos and photos. As always, we encourage you to include videos and photos in your own posts to share with your fellow PlowSite users.

Be assured that all of the forums, content and data that you’ve been accustomed to will remain intact, as will all current site features. You’ll also be able to easily access the full list of forums directly from our new homepage.

We’re excited to bring you this change, and look forward to hearing your feedback.

    Thanks, PlowSite Team

To the Ontario companies...where do you buy your bulk salt (and bagged salt for that matter) and if you don't mind what do you pay for it?? Thanks for the help, just looking for the best price. I asked this on the SIMA site but received no reponse.

You can buy direct from windsor, sifto, canadian salt, etc, but you have to stock it,and unless you order 40 tons at a time, the delivery will kill you.Our local suppliers vary from $54.00 CDN to 90.00 CDN (jacked up price due to shortage).Usually you can get it just about anywhere, anytime for avg of $65.00 a ton.Bagged is usually 4.00-6.00 for a 40KG bag depending on quantity, with the $4.00 based on a min 2 skid order.

Thanks Wyldman,
I called Candian Salt. around $57-60 per ton, 35 ton minimum shipment. Now I just have to figure how much I will need for next year as we are preparing quotes and I wanted to know some prices beforehand. Thanks,,,
