are there any advantages to buying a poly hopper salt spreader, or are the mild steel better, or stainless steel? no limit on price...

    Stainless Steel

Price no object, we use Swenson V200 Salt Spreaders with 2 90 Gallon prewetting systems, inserted into International 4700 Dump trucks. Ultimate set-up. All are stainless steel with poly spinner plates.

all the conveyer chains are steel and will only last so long anyway. So imo poly, ss, or mild doesnt really make a difference. Conveyer chains are big $$$

stainless has worked for us up here. reliable and productive, as stated before conveyor chain and the motor are the two main concerns.
