I tried searching and for some reason could not find this question asked previously.

What is the general coverage for a pound or ton of salt (whatever measurement you use).

I have a x county truck that holds 8 yards at a time and has a built in auger spreader on the back.

    Thanks in advance.

14-17 lbs per 1000sq.ft is typical for me.....I guess 1 million + sq ft at my rate for 8 tons
