Welder buddy is cutting out and welding in new metal on my Hyd tank .

Any thoughts on psi for an air test ?

Just a idea.

Weld Sealing – Don’t risk it, wick it!

Wicking adhesive for sealing pin-prick holes in welded joints - particularly useful for sprinkler systems in the fire protection industry.

I forgot we had a hydraulic tank on the old Volvo dump leaking and took it to gas tank renu. Not sure if you have one there or close by but we have used them a few times and it works good.

Is that a liquid liner they pour in and it hardens to coat the inside ?

It’s some sort of coating they put on it and then bake it

Dumped 5 gallons of diesel in the tank and put a little air to it .

2 very small leaks .

Drained tank , and welded the spots .

Tested again and all good .

Installed tank and all is good .

Only 2 scars on my head from steel hitting skull .

Chicks dig scars ........
