What is the difference between the RTII RT3 RT3 Sport

Which one would you suggest for a V plow or for a straight blade?

    For my 1999 Suburban 1500

rt2 is the old hitch rt3 is the current style and is the same hitch for power v, v-xt, super duty and standard duty plows and the rt3 sport is for the sport duty plows only (1/2 ton or smaller)

for your truck i suggest a 7'5" standard duty or if you want a lighter plow a 7'5" sport duty

7'0" and 7'6" sport duty blades are the only applications recommended for that vehicle bossplow.com/PlowSelection

Actually, the selector says GM doesn't recommend a plow on it, but then again most manufactures don't recommend plows on most of their fleet. Dodge 3500 being one of them. So...take it with a grain of salt.

the only reason the dont reccomend them is because of a stupid thing called a plow prep package and since your truck is a 1999 you can do what you want with it because if the vehicle is under warranty putting a plow on without the "plow prep package" will void the warranty
