rough guess on sanding

    I'm still have touble trying to put a tonage on sanding bids I almost under tonage them,

    whats everyones guess on how much sq-ft a ton of sand will cover? ( on a med range)

    ya ya ya I now depends on what you have it set on and the piece of equipment just give me what ya think!! an all throw in a half ton over what the majority thinks!

    I have a couple of new commercial property managment companies I'm biding right now and they want a guess and a total not to go over amount on price!

    Sand is cheap and we only use it on our shop yard but I would say 1 ton/acre will give you good coverage. Sand works alot better then salt on gravel lots. it doesn't get our yard all mucky and leaves the hard pack to plow next time.
