Is there a reason for the 1 x 4 3/4 inch clevis pin and 1 x 4 anchor pin. It seems a 1 x 4 pin will work on both ends with 1/2 inch clear before the cotter key and I have plenty of them. Can I just use the 1 x 4 aftermarket replacement pin on both ends or will this cause problems?

If you have the clearances sure. remember if you are using a cotter pin to use a washer too. But, it is easer to wipe out(trash) a cotter pin than it is a nut and bolt.
