Hey guys, just got the pics in the laptop of the before and after on the plow, hope this works. Yes I realize I am missing a few letters on the salter sign, will be complete next week.

Well I started with rustoleum rusty red, and finished with gloss sunshine red, did everything by hand with foam rollers, and topped with clear enamel. Next plow I'm going to do with a sprayer I think.

Nice work man, did you use covery belt for the deflector? Also what did you use to hold it down?

    Thanks, Tim

Thanks guys, a lot of hard work and sweat went into it. Yes conveyor belt material off ebay, nice stiff product a ten foot roll only cost me $25.00, I'm using the excess for a motor cover on the salter which is coming in this week. The hold down consists of four small steel plates, they are about one inch wide, and range in sizes, smaller in the center, longer to the sides, and I went with all hex head bolts to tighten it down. As for the cops they haven't messed with me yet so we will see if they mess with me this year when the snow fly's, which looks to be sooner than later, express says were getting a frost Friday/Saturday bring on the cold and snow!

The police around here pretty much leave snow plowers alone.

Most back of the trucks get packed with snow when driving in snow anyway, so you can't see your license plate whether you're plowing or not. Michigan police would rather eat donuts then pull somebody over for their license plate during the winter anyway.
