I am trying to get my Sno-Way STD model ready to plow. When I turn on the wired remote and hit the up button, all I get is a rattling or hissing sound from the start solenoid. Is that an indication of a bad solenoid or could it also be low voltage at the trigger terminals(the two lower terminals). There is indications of a mouse chewing on the some of the wiring, but it doesn't appear that they were chewed though.

check all the wiring to make sure the mouse didn't short something.

Then test for 12 volts at the soleniod. If you have 12 volts try jumping the soleniod if it runs change the soleniod.

    Let us know:)
