Replaced a shift cable on a dodge ram yesterday. The bracket on the transmission for the cable is rotting away. Wonder how long that will take to get.

You didn't use Zippo Tie's to ensure the bracket didn't fail?

That's a job for hose clamps.. duh.

Zippos won't rust like cheap SS Hoser clamps.....
