Quote for private roads

  1. How do you guys figure quotes for private drives? Do you do it by legnth? If you how much would you charged per given legnth.. Thanks for your help.

    For me, I charge by the mile. We have roads known as "Fire Roads". Typically about 12' wide. Packed dirt or gravel/dirt. But I also take into factors such as hills and steep curves. I usually figure one mile equal to one hour. That doesn't mean I drive one mile an hour, though. Usually, I'll make two and perhaps three round trips. Plus some areas require additional attention to keep the snow pushed back.
