I lost my manual and my oil level is about half full. I have a sno way plow and would like some suggestions on what kind of oil to use. It may snow here today or tomorrow. I was going to put in ATF fluid in but i don't want to ruin the pump. Thanks for any help.

Unless it has colored ATF in it it is most likely a a thin "oil". In a pinch you could use straight non detergent 10 w oil if you can find it until you can get the right stuff. Safest thing to do would be to drain and flush it and get new oil in it of all the same kind. Surely somewhere around where you are at they have some hydraulic fliud for pump.
