I am swapping my Meyer classic from my '04 Chevy 2500HD to my '06. I thought these were the same. When I slide the loop onto the frame, it won't go all the way in because the two braces at the curve in the loop hit the front fascia. Needs to go in another inch or so. Anyone have this problem??:dizzy:

I can't believe I'm the only one with this problem on this board. The way I see it anyone w/a '05+ Chevy has had to deal with it. Anyone?

    It's killin me!

Fact of the matter is I've not had the oppertunity yet to mount to a 2006.

As much as I'd like to help, I have no experience with this yet.

I had hoped that bnewell would jump in.

Are you maybe going in too far? I know my '97 F350 didn't go in that far-I always had a gap to those braces. Just a thought.
