Preset pattern button & intensity button?

I've been trying to find some strobes with buttons that:
1: toggle high/low intensity
2: activate a specific pattern (two of these)

The reason is I'd like a fast, bright pattern for daylight hours and a slow, dim pattern for night on rural roads. The only thing I've found for intensity is the strobes-n-more traffic advisor, but it doesn't appear to be expandable to control additional strobes on the front.

Whelen offers a dimming wire on some of their light heads, I'm not sure you can get it on their mini bars, with the cigarette plug, but you may be able to if it goes to a switch panel
looks like the mini justice has a low power wire in the cable but you need to connect it to a momentary swtich. Here's the document

Welcome, btw, the Sun is pretty hot.

Thanks, I’ll look closer at Whalen’s stuff. Upon my initial education, I was surprised to see that strobes (more for the individual surface mounts, not sure about bars) are not actually controlled by the controller. I would have thought the individual light units would flash via power cycling. I never would have guessed that each unit had a processor in it.

lol and “the sun” is supposed to be my plow equipment. Not much snow in FL.
Ecco also has bars with selectable preset patterns and intensity

I'm not sure all of which models, but here is at least one:

See page 7
FWIW, studies have shown that slower flash patterns do a better job of warning other drivers.

Generally equal amount of time on and off.

I'll agree to that, all them lights on tow trucks on the highway is just blinding.

I noticed this the other day as well...had a fire apparatus coming towards me with a light bar the width of the cab. Multiple light pods, all red and white. The flashes were so fast it was actually confusing.

Folks always laugh at the old MSP sealed beam gumballs, but you could see them from a mile away and knew what it was immediately.

That’s why I’m looking for what I’m looking for. I want an obnoxious, fast, bright pattern for the day so when I’m doing roadside inspections (bridge and highway type things) on a 60mph road where people are actually doing 80 and on their phone, it’ll catch their attention. On the other hand I don’t want to blind them when it’s dark.

#1 I shirley hope you aren't doing bridge inspections when it's dark.
#2 Obnoxious, fast patterns are confusing. But knock yourself out.

1- well for the construction side of it.
2- relatively obnoxious maybe.

Anyone have experience with Extreme Tactical Dynamics? They have 3 or 4 models of body mounts with 3-6 leds that are $15-20 each. They all look basically identical except for minor case differences. There’s also no info on the site about how many can be synced together. I’m kinda giving up on the intensity and preset idea. It seems that that’s non existent… at least for under a grand.
Maybe instead of intensity, you could have like 2 sets of lights...a day set and a night set.
Might be an option....
A little update. Strobes N' More appears to be a fantastic company. They respond to emails in a day or so and they answer the phone on the first ring (unlike Whelen, extreme tactical dynamics, xprite, and a few others). Their prices range from good to steep, but they have pretty good rotating sales if you wait. I just missed a big one last week... didn't realize how good it was.

Anyway- The Whelen ULF44 does everything I want and then some. Hi/low and pattern override (preselected pattern button). Currently looking to pair it with some E68 replacement modules... they are "dumb" +/- 12v lights. Looks like any 12v light will work with this controller.

Edit: Ask for Matt at Strobes N' More if you want to know something about strobes.
You should get a scorpion trailer.
