Here is the deal right now I have a western 7.5 ploy pro on my 2500 hd. I ran into a customer at work who has a brand new western 8 pro steel. He will sell it for 800-1000. It is just the plow side but I can switch out my harness. Any reasons you guys would not do it? The ploy is nice but I think the extra 6in would be nicer. Thanks for all the help in advance.

I would definately upgrade to the 8' pro. You can always get a roll of poly and fasten it to the front of the moldboard since it seems to help it roll better if that's your preference.
