I have a Western Pro-Poly with the joystick controller and am wondering if this is just a matter of cleaning some contacts inside the controller or something more serious. If I raise the plow slightly then drop it, it seems to work fine. I assume controllers can wear out but how do you know if the problem is the controller or something else?

    Thank you for any help.

Check the pins in the grill plug, there should be nine. They are known to corrode to the point of rotting off. It is such an issue the aftermarket makes repair kits.
