hello to all. new to the board and like what i see. i am interested in buying a mid 90's bronco to plow with, but am having some trouble finding a setup to fit. i don't want to buy until i find a setup that i hear good things about. i'd like western or meyer, but they don't seem to have anything useful. please let me know what you have and are happy (or not happy) with.
Ok. Most New Englanders like Fishers- only the edge trips- so you don't loose your load when it flops down. I have 2 Fishers and 1 Pathfinder- The Pathfinder flops on its face in heavy snow - but it never breaks- then again neither do the Fishers. Don't buy a plow that pushes out the front bumper and mounts behind it- looks stupid. Before I get all nasty e-mails- everyone has their preferences- Almost any plow is better than shoveling the driveway. Take a good look at the vehicle and make sure that all with the plow frames is straight. Spend the most money you can afford to get the newest vehicle with the lowest miles. Good luck
