HAHAHAHA, Same exact problem. Just noticed it. Took of the cover and saw that both of the bulbs work with directionals but no parking lights....Mine is a 2005 X Blade. Dam fisher. I am sure its a wiring issue. I was going to buy some Intensifires yesterday to rid of the problem, but I understand Fisher is having a lot of trouble with those lights. 2 Parking lights wont make or break me for now.....Your not alone out thereticki2;461805 said:Plow directionals work but no park light . Lights have 2 double element bulbs which both work on directional but no park light , is this normal ?MM2 on a '02 GMC .
$8 test light eliminates guess work and tells you exactly were things aretkrepairs;464680 said:its the two wires from the harness that need to be spliced properly to your parking lights. i had that issue too, but i cant remember which one goes where. i ended up stripping all 3 wires back and splicing them via process of elimination because the manuals online are useless. i have an 02 chevy, and if i get the chance ill take a look, but if i remember right i weatherproofed the crap out of them and wont be able to see what goes where.
the dual element bulbs serve their purpose. one element is for the parking lights, the dim element. and the blinkers are the bright element. one would think that one bulb would be the blinker and the other the parking light, but if wired wrong once again the parking light may end up being brighter than the blinker making it useless.
and make sure when you make your connections that you dont reverse them and get the previously mentioned problem - bright parking lights and dim blinkers. good luck it shouldnt take anymore than a half hour to test, connect and clean up.
Hehe , made that investment many years ago . Have been running MM1 for years and always had both . The MM2 is new for me so wasn't sure what to expect . I know I can make it work with park light , wasn't sure if it was supose to or not . I'll check the wiring and see whats up.Arc Burn;464731 said:$8 test light eliminates guess work and tells you exactly were things are![]()

Both drivers side park filements was bad also.Gicon;465794 said:Mine had nothing to do with the wiring. Both bulbs were bad....EVEN THOUGH they both fully functioned with the hadards/blinkers.....
Not sure , bought it last spring used. What difference would it make , someone mixed up the black and brown wire , I've done worse myself at times.Arc Burn;466360 said:Who installed this plow and how long ago?
