Need advice on plow mounts. Found a plow for sale that was mounted to a 95 Chevy. Will this thing mount to my 89 K2500?

I saw a picture of the mount. Looked like a vertical bracket that mates to each frame rail. I'm guessing that's the bumper bracket 3 bolts (outside of each frame rail)?

My truck has two bolts that are used for the factory tow hooks and I figured this is where the plow would mount.

How do the plow mount generations lay out for the 88-98 GM trucks? are they all the same?

    Thanks forum

Yes the mount will fit, 88-98 OBS all use the same mount.

The mount will use both the OEM tow hook bolts as well as the three bumper bracket bolts on the outboard sides of the frame rails so what you're thinking holds true.
