    i was wondering what kind/ size plow would be the best for my 94 k1500hd DIESEL yes 4x4?

    whatever you get make sure you put on those gussets to help support the frame...gm doesnt make that great of a frame and the tend to crack once a plow is thrown on them.

    I second what Steve says, But you could probably get away with a light enough 8 ft.
    I don't know much about it, but I know Sno-Way ares fairly light from what Ive heard.

    Fisher recommends up to an 8 1/2' straight blade, so it it capable of handling a pretty heavy plow.
