plow edge

    When do you know you need a new edge and can you grind the old to work better. Never had to replace one and do not know about them. Thanks

    What kind of plow, and can you post a pic or two? If it's a trip edge, you want to put a new edge on before you get to close to the spring brackets. I'm not sure about full trip plows. Not much value in grinding, the hot top will do that for you.

    Boss v plows if you ground down the bolts in behind the cutting edge its time to change it

    If you get close the the moldgoard it is WAY past time to change them.
    Depending on how much you plow once a year or every other to replace them is not uncommon.
