    Hey guys,

Here's some pics of the new plow and a short video...

    video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=955gdqTqfjg

When plowing my dirt road, particularly before the ground freezes, is there anything in particular I need to be concerned about when plowing in the V position if I'm keeping the plow off the ground slightly? I realize it will not sit perfectly level and the wings might drag a little, but I'm assuming that won't be a big issue with properly adjusted shoes and a soft touch on the controller.

    Any tips you can offer?

    Thanks guys.

    couple things....

I also have the 9.2 vxt on my ford dually....

GET A FLAP boss sells them.. the snow coming off of the flare is craazy..

you really need timberns , or a level load, to help get those edges away from the ground when in the v position

You really think tibrens will be required with the 5200# front end? I was just going to crank the torsion bars a couple turns and leave it at that...

I would just get the 2 inch leveling kit. their only like a hundred bucks or so online and fairly easy to install.

That's the exact plow I want on my Ram! Is your truck stock suspension wise? I have a level kit on my truck but instead of getting spacers I got new longer heavy duty coils and I am hoping that will be strong enough to hold that big momma.

I was going to go that route but I figured it's a 30-40K truck, why go cheap and get a level kit that is tough on the shocks and rest of the front end. I paid $500 and got new longer coils and longer Bilstein shocks, hopefully it will be good to hold a V.

Did you have to take the lower plastic valance off to fit the mount on? Or did you just have it off for a different reason?

They shop took it off during the install... I doubt it needs to be off to clear the plow but it probably made getting it on there a whole lot easier. I still have it but have not looked into putting it back on. Have had a bit of an issue with the pins not always locking properly - don't think I'm tryng to obscure the mount any more than it is for the time being as I'm spending a fair amount of time looing under there...

Good call on the torsion bars lol... After I wrote that I went outside and looked to see what was involved/how hard to get to/etc... uh, yeah...
