    Hey guys - have a Sierra 2500 '03 GAS, V8 6.0L

When fuel indicator is near Empty, truck will stall - "service brake system" will show on display, and turning key will give nothing. The PRNDL light is also off so you cannot see what gear you're in. PCM B (20 amp) fuse will be blown.

Once I fill it up and change the fuse we're good to go.

Anyone seen anything like this before?

    Cheers, GL

Hmm what runs off that fuse? I think you need a wiring diagram and start there. Since it related to low fuel I'm wondering if it a fuel pump ground or pump or sending unit. That is strange to blow the fuse...

Thanks Yaz. The dealer mechanic has said it could be the fuel pump. Apparently the wiring from that fuse goes to the fuel pump and the main computer.
