Has anyone used or heard of anyone using these heated snow melting mats on sidewalks? http://heattrak.com/

A commercial walkway 38" wide with a 14' retaining wall on one side and a building on the other. Also, there's utilities and or fire hydrates on both ends, making it almost impossible to physically remove snow. This is new construction as well... it make me wonder where these architects are from. Definitely a warm climate.

Would you lease or rent these to the property owners?
What's stopping them from purchasing them, once they learn of them?

With this being his first post it leads me to believe that he is the property owner and figured a snow forum would be the best place to possibly find info on these from real people?

Several of our clients use these on their decks from the sliding glass doors to the hot tubs.

    How long is the walkway?
