Having received 2 feet of snow in two events within 7 days, the muni called us up for some help.

Years ago when I was a little boy my uncle had a uni-system (dont make no more) but it had a corn sheller head and big blower attachment. Often he would do gravel and black top roads in badly drifted areas. The blower was like 6ft tall and i want to say 8ft wide. He just chewed it up - alot of fun riding along. So i can relate to the blower on that loader! Not cheap equipment but I am sure you made some coin that day!

Now you need to go back and push the corners back before they start complaining they can't see!

That's one scary looking machine (from the front). What happens when there's a animal carcass under the snow pack, and you snow blow it ???

    Or a big rock ?

    Or a garbage can ?

Or a frozen drunk guy ?

Must make one heck of a racket when you hit something solid....

Cool picture. Not looking for numbers but when they call you out how do you bill them? Hourly? Is it common for them to call you out?

It sucks because you will break the sheer bolt. The are a PITA to change.

$200.00 / hr they call whenever they get overwhelmed or their blower breaks.

Here is a video of it at work. http://youtu.be/gwa0TJaY7Rg

If they only have the one blower and call you, how long do you normally get to work...I see you start with the sun out and still going past dark...cool vid too,

That's really cool ! I bet that thing could fill up a sidewalk that some old guy just dug out by hand in a fraction of a second....:p

Sometimes its only 30 minutes, but we have a 3 hr minimum.

Yep, thats why we avoid filling in sidewalks, dont feel like cleaning them out afterwards.

Thanks, here are some pics from today.
