The dispatcher tracks route progress in real-time and can easily view route completion, open/closed service calls, and damage reports, right on Google Earth. Operasoft gives another new tool to the dispatcher, the ability to assign operators that have completed their routes/runs to assist the less experienced operators that have not yet finished their current snow routes. It’s like having more vehicles.

    The system is highly modular; The in-vehicle MODIS Terminal, or an optional Biometric pay terminal can eliminate punch cards, long manual calculation and costly errors. Fleet maintenance is easily managed by creating and tracking repair work orders; end of day vehicle inspection is entered on the MODIS terminal before the driver parks and exits their snow service vehicles, automatically creating new repair work orders as needed.

    Right on they are a Canadian company located not far from us. The have the most awesome system I have ever witnessed. Sat through a demo and was blown away with what it can do. There is nothing out there that comes even close to what this system can do. I could start explaining , but it would not do it justice. Thumbs Up

    WOW! That looks like a really great tool for a business that has vehicles out on routes! I want it! I have a feeling it's quite a bit out of my price range though :(
