    Hello all

I bought and old western set up that hadn't been used for many years.
Could not get motor to engage and cables bad.
Some one has another set up, been in dry storage for years.
Is there things I can check before I buy to make sure it still works ?
He just has the pump/motor, cables and controler in his shop.

i assume this is just the power unit only ,if so about all you can do is make shure it has oil and ground the motor and put 12 volts to the power stud and see if the motor runs .you will have to put it on some thing and try it other wise ,good luck ! :)
