May is normally mower mud season lol. I've got customers who have had irrigation started but they haven't started running it yet. After this next week it might look like August in June...
I've watered my grass once and that was after spreading fert in late April. May brought a series of systems that ended up producing 9.8" of rain for the month, our yearly average is about 16".That's lawn toasting weather.
