Starting one up for those outside of SE Michigan.

Anyone is welcome, even if you are from SE Michigan.

No clique's allowed, however, I am an equal opportunity offender.

Weather, networking, whatever, it doesn't really matter to me, but we should try to keep it kind of weather related so as to appease the powers that be.

PS You can even be from Kannada and post here.

Maybe we could ship it back, along with their geese...
There are geese sitting on eggs along the park pond. The old lady told me that the DNR, or whomever spray the eggs with something so they don't hatch to keep the population down.

I was wondering why they don't just crush them.

Will she lay a second batch?

Perhaps that's why.
I was curious, so I googled. Apparently corn oil will keep the eggs from hatching. I'm guessing it seals the shell.
I've heard of sealing egg with Vaseline to keep them from spoiling when you don't have refrigeration.

I saw some frost in a few low spots in some fields this morning. It was 35° on the truck termometer when we left at 430.

It was 34 when I took that picture. It's 46 now apparently it didn't actually post when I posted it...
